About DUI Time
DUI Time is a free resource intended to provide educational content and information related to driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol or other drugs. Our content covers information about DUI of various substances, DUI laws, DUI penalties, and more.
Why DUI Time?
While professionally researching DUI issues, it quickly became evident that most DUI information available to the public is either written by lawyers who may be using scare tactics to turn their readers into clients, or is intended for lawyers to read, and is thus very dry and complex. What’s more, finding useful information about DUI classes and DUI lawyers can be a very overwhelming and cumbersome task.
DUI Time was created to provide valuable content about DUI facts in a straightforward and digestible way. We even provide details for state-specific laws, so no matter where you are in the U.S., DUI Time can help you understand the various elements involving and stemming from a DUI charge or DUI conviction.
In our expansive collection of articles, you will find the following DUI information, and more:
- DUI Meaning
- DUI vs DWI
- DUI Laws, including State-Specific DUI Laws
- DUI Penalties
- Answers to commonly asked questions about DUI, such as:
- What is a DUI?
- What Happens When You Get a DUI?
- How Long Does a DUI Stay on Your Record?
Since DUI Time was made with people in mind, we realize that if you’re researching DUIs, there is a chance you may need to take actions to protect your driver’s license or find legal assistance defending yourself against a DUI charge. To help make that process as simple as possible, DUI Time includes comprehensive lists of DUI classes and DUI lawyers in throughout the U.S.
Which States Do You Focus On?
Our team of DUI experts is based out of Florida, so at launch we focused on our own state first. Within the next few weeks, we will be expanding DUI laws to include Texas, California, and New York. We plan on covering all states and counties by January 31, 2019.
If you’ve been convicted of DUI or are facing new DUI charges, you may be legally required to take DUI classes in order to maintain your right to drive, protect your license from suspension, or satisfy the conditions of a court ruling. Regardless of the reason, before you schedule your DUI classes, you must first locate a DUI school. DUI Time has an extensive list of licensed DUI classes being offered in every state. To find a DUI school near you, just visit our DUI Classes section.
In most cases, a DUI arrest will lead to DUI charges, which can have serious consequences to your personal and professional life, especially if you are found guilty and convicted of DUI. Depending on the circumstances of your case and specific situation, you may be facing additional collateral consequences of a DUI conviction that are often overlooked until it’s too late. If you’ve been arrested for DUI, an experienced DUI lawyer can provide the legal assistance you need to get the best possible result for your DUI case.
Supporting DUI Prevention, Awareness, and Education
As an expansive educational resource about DUI information, DUI Time is proud to support the prevention of drunk driving. While there are many notable charities which aim to prevent and inform about drunk driving, DUI Time has chosen to support Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) in their decades-long mission to save lives by eliminating drunk driving and the deadly consequences it often carries.
